The Easiest Way to Planting Pineapple by the Crown

Who doesn’t like pineapple? Many people like to enjoy this tropical food especially when in the sunny weather. There are some ways to enjoy this fruit for consumption, such as make it to become fresh juice, make is to be a jam, put it on salad or just eat the fruit. The taste of this fruit mostly is sweet but some of them sometimes have a little bit sour but still good to eat.

Have you ever try to grow pineapple plant at home? If you would like to earn how to grow it, then you are in the right place. First of all to grow this sweet-tasting fruit is a fresh pineapple, you can go to the grocery and pick one up. Make sure that the fruit is healthy, fresh, firm and have green leaves or crown with golden-brown fruit skin. Then twist the crown off the top of fruit by your hand. After that expose the stem by stripping off some of the lower leaves, turn it upside down and let it dry for about a week.

After one week the leave will get dry and it is time to make it wet by soaking with some water. Put some water on a glass. Make sure that the mouth of the glass is large enough to fit the crown inside. Then put the crown in the water and put them in the window to make sure they get some sunshine and wait till the roots sprout. Usually the white roots will be sprouted in few weeks or several days.

After you can see the roots, prepare a pot of soil for the pineapple crown.

Make sure that 30% of the soil is blended with organic matter. Dig some inches and plant the crown. After the planting process, keep it moist and warm with great temperature and enough water. Then in few days, you can see a red cone from the center of the crown and it will become a blue flower then eventually become a fruit in about six month till it reap.

Pineapple does have a delicious flavor and refreshing. This fruit can be eaten directly as a dessert, is made into a glass of fresh juice, or as one of the fruits are combined with other fruits so that it becomes a fresh drink.
